ABOUT

In 1996 we first came to Champagne as guests of Moet & Chandon after winning a Visual Arts Award in our native New Zealand. The residency offered us a chance to explore the region and we made the most of this opportunity and were lucky enough to befriend a few locals along the way. We found we could not stray far from Champagne after we moved to London in 1998 where we continued to work in film and returned often.

Our 'FRENCH HOUSE' we have loved since our first visit so without hesitation we signed on the line, moved in and threw ourselves into the 'works' which are ongoing...

Our time in France has been peppered with countless joyful and celebratory occasions...sharing our house with many a weary and curious traveller. The property has a special ambience and we feel privileged to be able to make this small part of the world our own.

The creative energy we bring to the table can be enjoyed throughout the house...in the rooms, the garden, at the dining table and in the kitchen.

'Aupres de l'eglise' is the heart of our French House and out of this 'FRENCH BARN' has been born.
